The Kingsway Centre is a small Outdoor Education Centre in Teesdale, of the Durham Dales. For 25 years we have been providing outdoor education schools, businesses and porivate groups. Throughout that time we have established ourselves as a spoecialsit primary schools provider, offering a range of outdoor education options for our schools these include, Outdoor Education Residential Programmes - these can be tailored to suit your school. Outdoor Educational Day Programmes - these can be hosted at school, a venure near school or at our centre. Ongoing Weekly Programmes - These programmes are perfect for schools who want to build outdoor education into their curriculum, we currently work with a series of special schools, we can offer a huge range of options and can even focus on working towards nationally recognised awards for the students. Outdoor Education Teacher Training - we work with schools to develop their teachers knowledge and skills so they themselves can offer their own outdoor education. As well as our school offering we work alot with private groups, these could include stag and hen groups, family groups and even brithday parties, for both schools and private groups we can offer, Rock Climbing Abseiling Canoeing Kayaking High Ropes Archery Gorge Walking and Waterfall Swing Raft Building Bushcraft Expeditions Crate Stacking We are also experienced at running team development programmes and have worked with clients such as Natwest Business Bank and Sunderland LEA.
