The British Franchise Association (bfa) is the self-regulatory body for the UK franchise sector. It defines and promotes ethical franchising practice and standards in the UK, which anyone entering the sector - as a franchisee or franchisor - should research carefully. The bfa is a standards-based organisation: franchisors and professional advisers working in the sector must satisfy an accreditation process to join.
