Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council (SPAR) is a nonprofit 501c3 community organization that works both publicly and behind the scenes to preserve the history and unique character of the Springfield Historic District, while supporting the revitalization of its residential and commercial districts. We are a resource for neighbors and businesses alike, liaising with state and local government, steering the Springfield Area Merchants and Business Association (SAMBA), and hosting popular events like Jacksonville Porchfest.
