The Conflict Islands is a group of 21 privately owned, pristine and completely uninhabited islands in an atoll formation covering a total landmass of 375 Hectares (925 acres). The Conflict Islands Resort is located on Panasesa Islands where there are 6 private beach front en-suite bungalows just a stone’s throw away from the lagoon side beach. Situated along a short white sandy pathway lies the main house where you can enjoy peace and tranquility whilst enjoying our delicious fresh and local food, drinks, free wi-fi internet, beach front deck and a first floor balcony overlooking the stunning Conflict Islands and lagoon waters with colours like no other place on earth. Conservation is at the heart of The Conflict Islands with the main reason for operating being to protect the coral reef and marine life. We conduct active turtle conservation as well as resource management on the islands with community based conservation being paramount to our success. Providing sustainable tourism for international clientele helps to support he local economy within Milne Bay and provides an alternative to resource exploitation.
