KCMC facilitates valuable R&D collaborations between business and academia in the chemistry-using industries. It does this to encourage and accelerate product and process innovations in advanced materials faster at a reduced cost and risk. This allows KCMC to deliver a positive impact on business performance and boost the UK economy. KCMC is hosted by CPI, an independent technology innovation centre and founding member of the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult. The partnership enables KCMC to connect companies with the capabilities of its host CPI and the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, thereby supporting them from manufacture through to commercialisation.
