The company was founded in 1960 and its main business was repairing electronic products and electronic components sales. In 1997, mobile phones, batteries and lamps were introduced into the product mix, sold in a separate shop under the name “Energia”. In 2000, STEPHANIS and Energia unite under one roof, in Athalassas avenue, becoming the first of many “one-stop shops” selling a wide range of electronic products. By 2006, there were a total of six STEPHANIS stores all over Cyprus. You can find two of our stores in Nicosia, a brand new store in Larnaca, an impressive 2000sqm store in Limassol and two more stores in Paralimni and Paphos. In 2008, STEPHANIS becomes an official MTN provider of telecommunication services. In 2009, STEPHANIS becomes one of the first retailers in Cyprus to launch an e-commerce website with a huge success becoming one of the highest ranking websites in Cyprus. In 2016, it enters the market of White goods. Today Stephanis chain of stores continually strive for excellence, growth and customer satisfaction.
