Nourish4
www.nourish4.comNutrition is my second career — born from passion and necessity. Athletics and nutrition were always an interest. I had always enjoyed playing, watching and talking sports and nutrition. Then one day, like so many of us, a cancer diagnosis. Nutrition is critical in prevention and recovery. Nutrition improves our lives and the lives of our family. Nutrition is nature's medicine and fuel for the body. I believe we need to find the pattern of nutrition that fuels our individual lifestyle. No two people are alike — even identical twins! I am an outpatient oncology dietitian at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston Massachusetts. Working within these prestigious institutions provides the opportunity to counsel patients challenged with a wide variety of diseases presenting from all over the country and the world. Previously, I worked at Boston Medical Center (BMC) located in the heart of Boston’s historic South End, which provided insight into the cultural diversity of our city. I'm also a frequent contributor to ASCO’s Cancer.net covering topics such as the ketogenic diet and managing eating challenges after head and neck cancer treatment. I have spoken internationally, presenting the latest topics in nutrition for the excellence in oncology care (EIOC) symposium located in Dubai UAE in 2018 and 2019. I received my MS in Nutrition from Boston University’s Sargent College. I also have a MBA from Babson College, a MMS from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a BS in Economics from Susquehanna University. You can follow me on Twitter @amgoldbergRD
