The Wellmont Theater, located at 5 Seymour St. in Montclair, N.J., first opened its doors in 1922 as a venue for vaudeville acts and staged plays, attracting top acts of the time, like Charlie Chaplin. After a multi-million-dollar renovation, the 2,500-capacity Wellmont Theater emerged as New Jersey’s premier live entertainment venue on Oct. 27, 2008. Past performances include David Blaine, Breaking Benjamin, 311, Jim Gaffigan, Daughtry, Buddy Guy, Papa Roach, Odesza, The Roots, Dita Von Teese, Sabrina Carpenter, Danzig and many more.
