In 1974, Fred Shaw and his partner and friend, Lyle Lundquist, were determined to form a construction company based on their shared values of honesty, trust and reliability. The two men had already worked together for 20 years and knew they could establish a company that would be better than the competition. Today, Shaw-Lundquist is one of the largest Asian-owned general contractors in the country. Two of Fred’s sons continue to lead the company.
