I’m a Comox Valley Photographer based out of my Tin Town studio in Courtenay, BC, Canada. I’m available for shoots world-wide. I love to capture life as it happens, telling stories with images. I produce dynamic studio and environmental portraits of musicians, artists, athletes, actors…that’s the short list. A native of Canada based in Courtenay, BC, my commissioned work and stock photography has been featured in a variety of publications such as Sports Illustrated, The Globe and Mail, Transworld Snowboarding, Audubon Magazine, Westworld Magazine, TravelScope, The Financial Times and inflight magazines. I have published two books of my work, Waiting for the Sun: Journeys to Remote Places (2008) and Tattoo + You: A Photo Story of Body Ink (2012). My history of shooting spans photo journalism, sports-action and travel to commercial, lifestyle and wedding photography. I have been the official photographer for the Ghana Ski Team and the Snow Leopard at the 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as the Big 5 Kayak Challenge (a 1200-km journey from the Yukon to the Arctic Circle), Vancouver Island MusicFest and The Big Time Out. My extensive client list includes Arc’teryx, Papageno Resort, Fulcrum Media, International Aeroproducts Inc., Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Best Western Hotels, ElderTreks, BikeHike Adventures, Mike Blake Guiding, Swift Datoo Law Corporation, and Lan Chile, to name a few. In my travels to over 90 countries, I’ve had the great fortune to document exotic landscapes and cultures. I have amassed thousands of world portraits.
