TheUNSW Design Build Fly team was formed in late 2018 to compete in the annual AIAA Design Build Fly Competition in the United States and has since expanded to a society focused on all UAV related events and competitions. The specifications for the aircraft vary yearly, hence requiring fresh creative designs each year. Our mission is to provide students with hands-on experience and an avenue through which coursework can be applied towards an aerospace engineering project. The project timeframe is quite short, running from Term 3 up until midway through Term 1, making this project fast-paced and perfect for anyone ready to get their hands dirty in practical design or manufacturing.
