Armstrong Law Offices PLLC
www.armstronglawpllc.comWith thirty years of legal experience in the government and private sector, attorney Carol Armstrong knows immigration law. On the government side, she has served as counsel to five Members of Congress, providing input on immigration reform legislation and also assisting thousands of constituents. In her private practice, she has submitted filings to Homeland Security, the Department of State and Department of Labor on behalf of her clients so that they can live and work in America. As well, she has guided many of them on their path to lawful permanent residence and citizenship. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Carol studied journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. She was a newspaper editor in Virginia before moving to Washington, D.C. to serve as a staff assistant to a U.S. Senator. She returned to Raleigh to enroll in the N.C. Central University School of Law night program while working full-time. She was licensed to practice in 1991, and since then she has alternated her legal work between congressional offices and private practice. After 25 years, Carol has now retired from the federal government and is resuming her private practice of immigration law. She brings considerable experience to her clients. But perhaps more importantly, Carol is compassionate, honest and straightforward. She knows that immigration issues can consume her clients' lives, as it affects their ability to work, marry, and reunite their families. Immigration law is a confusing maze of forms and numbers and alphabetical visas. But in the end, it's about people's lives. It's personal. It matters.
