At the end of this gently winding road, guests follow a circular drive around our bubbling fountain to be greeted by an 18th century manor home flanked by stately front porch columns. This sprawling countryside estate was presented to the Boddie family as a land grant from the Crown of England in 1762. Some 30 years later, the first phase of the elegant antebellum mansion was complete. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, the Boddie family restored Rose Hill to its original splendor and turned the 830 acres into a working Angus cattle farm. Today, the estate is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers guests a visit steeped in Old South refinement that’s coupled with a relaxing atmosphere for business or pleasure courtesy of the Boddie family.
