Talley established a law office at 322 Columbia Street, Bogalusa. Over the years, the successor law firms to the one he established developed a reputation for aggressive and effective representation of clients as well as for civic leadership.The firm is unique in that nearly all of the attorneys with the firm through the years, hail from the area and have spent their entire professional careers with the firm. The firm took its present name of Talley, Anthony, Hughes & Knight in 1960 and became a full service regional law firm well known throughout Louisiana. All members of the firm have long-time connections and involvement in the local community. Over time, Talley, Anthony, Hughes & Knight became known as the leading law firm north of Lake Pontchartrain and east of Baton Rouge. Today, the firm has offices in Bogalusa and Mandeville, Louisiana. The firm has an extensive trial and appellate experience in Louisiana and Mississippi. Its attorneys are involved in litigation in both State and Federal Courts throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
