Established in 2010 Ixande is a Dual Diagnosis and Detox treatment facility in Cape Town, fully registered with the Department of Health and Department of Social Development of South Africa, offering clinical care in a community setting. We provide extended care treatment for: Mental Health - Anxiety and Depression Drug addiction Alcohol addiction Gambling addiction Sex addiction Co-dependency Our experienced multi-disciplinary team consists of highly qualified clinical professionals, and 24-hour medical staff. Ixande’s treatment philosophy is an abstinence-based mental health treatment. We facilitate an individualised, comprehensive and supportive recovery plan for each of our clients, incorporating 12 Step principles. We encourage clients to find and practice healthy ways of dealing with their feelings and experiences while creating a solid platform from which they may develop a revised plan for their lives. Our therapeutic approach is both integrated and holistic in style, and we offer a wide array of additional therapeutic and stress reduction activities including yoga, mindfulness meditation, therapeutic art, mountain and beach walks. Situated in Kenilworth, Cape Town in South Africa, our twenty-bed facility provides a secure, nurturing, compassionate and supportive environment.
