The Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors aka The Southern is a regional trade association representing the interests of corporations and individuals involved in the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of convenience products. The 14 states that comprise the region covered by The Southern contain 46% or 66,653 of all c-stores in the country. Our members’ product offerings typically exceed 10,000 SKUs and include most things carried by convenience stores such as candy, tobacco, snacks, groceries, general merchandise, beverages, health and beauty care items and fresh food. The Southern is dedicated to supporting and building a strong distribution system in addition to enhancing its members’ ability to conduct a successful, profitable business.
