Message from the Founder: Throughout my life, I’ve always looked for snacks with simple ingredients that I could understand and pronounce. Over the years I became increasingly frustrated when I would purchase “all natural” and “healthy” snacks that were packed with sugar and mystery ingredients. In search of a better option, my family and I created the bites. Soon we started serving them to our dinner guests for dessert, and everyone fell in love with the bites. With a desire to contribute change in the health food industry and deliver honest food, I decided that one day I would make sure this healthy snack would be available for everyone. Once I started studies at George Washington University, my mom would ship bags of the tasty bites so my dorm roommates and I wouldn’t “starve. Truth be told, we lived off of the bites! Most dorms don’t offer many food options that are packed with healthy ingredients, so the bites became a lifesaver. With high demand from my roommates, it was clear that the time was now to launch Berg Bites and make this healthy snack available for everyone!
