The Brown Debating Union (BDU) is a student-run debating organization at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. The BDU competes in American and British Parliamentary Debate, consistently ranking as one of the top teams in the U.S. In recent memory, the BDU has achieved the title of 2nd "club of the year" (2015-2018), 6th (2018-2019), and 5th (2019-2020), among all active university debating teams in the U.S.
