The ‘Zentrum fir politesch Bildung’ (ZpB), Center for Citizenship Education, is a politically independent Foundation whose main focus is to improve the general understanding of democracy, of current political and social issues in Luxembourg as well as to support civic engagement. We focus on three kinds of activities: Learning: Development of pedagogical material and workshops on current political and social issues, organization of trainings for teachers & educators, ... Understanding: Improvement of the understanding of democratic processes as well current issues through publications, conferences, debates, exhibitions, ... Participating: Encouragement of civic engagement by strengthening democratic structures within educational institutions.
