He acts as president and CEO of the nonprofit film production company. With Coffee House Films, Michael hopes to combine a number of his passions to most effectively tell nonfiction stories. He does so by forming production teams of narrative and documentary filmmakers, academic researchers, historians, musicians, and visual artists. Currently, Michael and Coffee House Films are honored to provide research and write the script for the first authorized documentary about Nobel-Prize winning author, William Faulkner. The Past is Never Dead: The Story of William Faulkner bridges the gap between narrative and documentary forms to tell the untold story of one of the best writers of the twentieth century.
