SKJAJA is a community-funded nonprofit, whose mission is to level the playing field so that all youth have access to extracurricular and service opportunities that ignite their spark, strengthen their leadership skills, and expand their connections with their community. SKJAJA Fund is currently focused on students in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, providing access to extracurricular activities that include, but are not limited to: team sports or camps, art or dance classes, educational camps; school band/orchestra, tutoring, and field trips. Every student who receives funding "pays it forward" in the community.
