Tropic Nation Ltd is a multifaceted sports organisation specialising in rugby 7s. We are a dynamic, forward thinking company that dreams big and plans meticulously. The company acts as an umbrella organisation for its 3 main facets (Rugby, Soul & Social) - These ventures summarise Tropic Nation's purpose - To spread the values of rugby 7s with the culture it exudes & to provide people with an opportunity change their lives. Our facets are interpreted as follows: 'Rugby' Tropics 7s is the main pillar forming the multi-faceted organisation Tropic Nation Limited. Tropics 7s is an invitational rugby 7s team, which competes at high-profile tournaments across the UK, with the target of becoming one of the regular teams on the elite circuit by 2021. By working with a group of professional coaches, we ensure that the high standards we aspire to can be achieved. ‘Soul’ This is how we perceive our empathic social responsibility to give back to the communities we grew up in, hence providing a Social Outreach program. Sport is widely acknowledged to stimulate a positive change in our world. For that reason we want to begin a more formal social outreach programme aimed at young men and women. Using the players and coaches involved in Tropics 7s, we seek to share our wealth of knowledge and passion for the sport amongst our communities. We will reach individuals through extra curricular sports provision initially within school networks. Our sport provides participants with positive values and transferable skills that they can use in a wider context throughout their lives. 'Social' Our social aspect looks to emulate the culture and values of rugby 7s; this is expressed through creating a 7’s Festival, which we are preparing to announce for 2019. Our target is to orchestrate England's first student specific sport and music festival and the North of England's first major event within rugby sevens and music. Tropic Nation is a Limited company founded in January 2018.
