Today, India has more than 15 Lakh Schools, 80 Lakh School Teachers and 260 Million students. This massive scale is compounded by the fact that 85% of the schools are in Rural India and that one lakh of these are single teacher schools. SCHOOGLINK is a step towards using smart technology to improve the Education landscape across Rural India. Schooglink has built a hybrid smart class room model consisting of an online platform to improve learning outcomes and an off-line foot-on-the-ground network to assist rural students to use these technologies. Focusing on Classes VIII to XII curriculum in Bihar, UP, MP and Jharkhand (State Boards & CBSE) through its smart class centers, Schooglink has been able to replace the traditional tuition center model that most rely on. Technology-enabled classrooms and teachers deployed at the grassroots level aims to significantly improve pass percentages among students in the State(s). The smart class model has been adopted by several districts like Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh and Gaya in Bihar leading to a massive impact at scale. The smart schools project at Anuppur went on to win a spot in the top 4 in the coveted Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration - 2020. Our vernacular App - Pathyacharya completed 750,000 downloads in just eleven months from it's launch on 16.02.2021. Schooglink continues to deliver affordable quality education to the 85% rural India using its hybrid online-offline smart classroom model.
