The president of RJ Custom Builders is Robert Malone. Rob has 30 years of experience in residential building. He got his start working as a finish and trim carpenter with a high school friend in the middle 1980’s. He was very fortunate to work for three high end builders in the north Atlanta area who had a great eye for detail and knowledge of building. During the 1990’s, Rob worked as a superintendent for 2 custom home builders. From 1990 to 1996, Rob worked for Magnolia Development. He managed the construction of more than 75 homes during that time period. In 1996, Rob started working for a custom home builder named Tony Balsamo with AJ Custom Homes. Tony was a true custom home builder who built one of a kind landmark homes. He was passionate about his homes as well as his homeowners. In 2003, Rob and Tony became partners in RJ Custom Homes Inc.. Along with several other projects, RJ Custom Homes built custom homes in The Manor Golf & Country Club and the Ardsley Park neighborhood in the Windward development of Alpharetta. In 2008, Rob went on his own and started RJ Custom Builders. He continues to build homes in The Manor as well as several other custom homes in the North Atlanta area. He has completed several renovations and finishing of basements as well. Rob continues to use what he learned through his past experience in producing high end custom jobs.
