In 2011, the exploration properties of Callinan Mines were spun off into a new company, Callinex. The properties in Callinex's portfolio have been selected for their potential to host large, high grade and or polymetallic deposits. The projects' locations near existing mining infrastructure, gives the projects a head start towards feasibility, even in times of low metal prices. The governments of both Manitoba and British Columbia are both developmentally oriented, and actively recognize and encourage the mineral exploration business. Callinex's management has a long track record of establishing producing resources in the Province of Manitoba, and around the world.
