In 2004, as part of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) 25th Anniversary and the 50th Anniversary of the landmark decision of Brown v. Board of Education, CHCC launched the first C.A.P.S Program. To empower and train the next generation of successful Hispanic civic and business leaders, the CAPS curriculum includes: -Etiquette for the 21st Century Protocol -Self and Group Awareness -Strengths Finder - Maximize Your Potential -The Art of Networking -Your Elevator Speech -Public Speaking -Negotiations and Conflict Management -Budget and Financial Planning -Leadership Skills -Mock Interview The CAPS program empowers Hispanic college students to become the next generation of successful Hispanic civic and business leaders through training, network-building, and ongoing engagement with leaders in business development.
