These people impact the local economy through hotel occupancy taxes and tourism dollars that significantly affect the economic development of Nacogdoches. Our office is funded through these hotel taxes; therefore, our efforts are concentrated on replenishing this fund. Nacogdoches is the oldest town in Texas.
