The leader who takes time to understand what motivates and excites their people wins loyalty and respect. But this high level communication is not only a critical leadership skill, it's a necessary skill for all of us to get our points across in a respectful, authentic way. Communication and how wrong we can get it fascinates me. Corporate communication has a major crack in it. It’s fractured by a lack of understanding and respect for our differences, fragmented by unending corporate speak and shattered by high volume clutter. So I'm on a quest to change that, one person at a time.
