The purpose of Trafford Rape Crisis is to provide a free, confidential and non-judgmental support service run by women for women and girls who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. Trafford Rape Crisis provides emotional support and practical information by telephone and email. Support is also provided through medical, police and court procedures. Trafford Rape Crisis is a service-user led organisation and adopts a feminist perspective, recognising that rape and other forms of sexual violence are crimes of violence, abuses of power and gender inequality.
