UVera is a fusion of innovation and creativity which employs an interdisciplinary approach to skin protection against the whole spectrum of UV sun radiation as well as anti-pollution factors like Blue Light. Our mission is to provide humankind with natural and safe UV protection products with a concomitant reduction in the environmental impact on our planet. Regular synthetic UV filters are responsible for the destruction of coral reefs and marine ecosystem, and may have a negative effect on human health. Under today’s concerns and conditions, there is an unequivocal need for innovative and n UV filters. We provide the solution. Our ecologically friendly UV protector is produced by specific species of cyanobacteria. It is optimally stable and provides uniquely wide photo-protection activity. UVera is based on international cooperation between Polish and Spanish scientists. In 2020 we would like to start construction of ecologically friendly biofactory dedicated to the harvesting of a pure and natural UV protective compound.
