Heritage is a multi-building 57 bed personal-care licensed facility under AZDHS and accepts private pay and all ALTCS insurance plans. Heritage specializes in behavioral management for those suffering from Axis-I disorders including: bi-polar, schizophrenia, depressive, anxiety, eating, obsessive-compulsive, panic, and post-traumatic stress disorders. We employ a long-term and recovery based model overseen by Dr. Lana Peterson. Ours are residents who require personal care assistance with ADLs, medication, eating, etc. yet have been diagnosed with an Axis-I disorder. Our approach is both revolutionary and tested with success stories of residents who learn to become more independent through a positive environment, structured surroundings, clinical monitoring, medication management, personal responsibility and accountability.
