PARLUX Entertainment is a stable player of the movie distribution market since 2011, introducing primarily American and other English-language movies to the audiences of Eastern-Europe (Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary). We are distributing approximately twenty movies per year theatrically. Our team is composed of already active participants of the industry. We pay particular attention to the so-called crossover/midcult cinema as a new international trend: We became the ambassador to Eastern-Europe of the midcult movies. (The term midcult cinema means works which bear the same distinctive mark of their creator, but are aimed at the attention of the wider public.) Our sales philosophy is: a buyer is unable to ask for such service, delivery or deadline which we as a seller shouldn’t be able to deliver. Our activity is particularly marked in the social media and we intend to use the opportunities which buzz-marketing techniques could offer in distribution.
