The World Women Organization (WWO) was founded on the belief that women’s overall development is the cornerstone of a peaceful, dignified, and equitable future for all humankind. As an intergovernmental organization, the WWO works with governments, NGOs, civil societies, academia, and businesses to achieve the highest standards of women’s overall development worldwide.    The WWO is currently registered with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The WWO recognizes and advocates for the United Nations’ global efforts to achieve peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet.   The WWO is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and maintains a liaison office in New York. The United Nations acknowledges Malaysia as a world leader in encouraging the participation of girls and women in science.
