Housing Authority of Florence, South Carolina Managing Cheraw Housing Authority & Marlboro County Housing Authority The Housing Authority of Florence offers a wide range of affordable housing opportunities throughout three counties (Florence County, Chesterfield County and Marlboro County) in the State of South Carolina. Our programs include: Section 202 Supportive Housing for Elderly; Section 515 USDA Rural Rental Housing Loans; Housing Choice Voucher / Section 8; Project Based Vouchers (PBV); Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). The Housing Authority owns/manages approximately 1,097 public housing units, 1,205 housing choice vouchers, 112 tax credit units, and is growing as a Section 8 and public housing agency.
