In September 2008, Kyobo Life and AXA Investment Managers teamed up to create a joint asset management company. The Korean company thus founded is named Kyobo AXA Investment Managers Co., Ltd, and is held equally by both shareholders. Kyobo AXA IM is based in Seoul. End December 2021, it had over USD 38 billion AUMs and, was ranked 9th largest asset manager in South Korea. Kyobo AXA Investment Managers aims to provide its clients with strong, lasting performances in all the fields of expertise it offers. To do so, it will be able to leverage on AXA IM's multi-expert strategy and its international fund range, as well as on the Kyobo Group reputation and distribution capacity.
