CLEAR is a Canadian registered charity on a mission to eradicate all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer disease, by funding groundbreaking research to find a cure. Here are fun facts about CLEAR: 🟦 We are the only registered Canadian charity to allocate 100% of donations to researching a cure for Alzheimer disease and other forms of dementia. 🟦 We have placed over $14M to fund 40 research projects in Canada . 🟦 We are an independent organization, which means we have autonomy in deciding what projects to invest in. Here are some alarming facts about dementia, including Alzheimers disease: 🟨 Over 650K Canadians living with dementia today. By 2031, that number is expected to exceed 1M. 🟨 Alzheimers kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. 🟨 Research to find a cure for Alzheimers and dementia is grossly underfunded.
