Created in 2002, the Science Parks of Wallonia "SPoW" network gathers the 7 Science & Technology Parks from Wallonia, the french-speaking region of Belgium 🇧🇪. - Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park (Louvain-la-Neuve) - Liège Science Park (Liège) - Créalys Science Park (Namur) - Aéropôle Science Park (Charleroi) - Initialis Science Park (Mons) - Qualitis Science Park (Enghien) - Novalis Science Park (Marche-en-Famenne) These parks are jointly managed by 7 economic development agencies (BEP, Idea, Ideta, Idelux, IGRETEC, in BW, SPI) and 5 universities (UCLouvain, ULB, ULg, UNamur, UMONS). They are driven by a common purpose : - welcoming a concentration of innovative and high-tech oriented companies, - fostering partnerships between resident companies and with academia, - providing a whole ecosystem ready to boost company growth. This network of science parks actually represents 670+ companies, including 80+ spin-offs and 15,300+ jobs, on a surface of 600 hectares.
