Dr. Kim Jaqua has a real passion to see people feel well! Her zeal for chiropractic began when she was suffering from severe back pain years ago. Not knowing what to expect, she went to a local chiropractor. She would have done just about anything to feel better at that point. As a result of the relief she experienced within just a few visits, she felt compelled her to change her current plans from becoming an ER doctor to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. In 2008, Dr. Kim Jaqua graduated magnum cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Her thirst for knowledge led her to become trained in a wide variety of chiropractic techniques. These techniques include the Palmer method, Diversified, Thompson, Cox Flexion Distraction, Activator and Graston techniques. Additionally, she uses other modalities to bring about healing. These include Gua Sha, Athletic Taping, Ultrasound and cold laser. For more information, see our Available Treatments page. In 2017, she completed her Functional Medicine certification (CFMP) so she could more fully understand underlying causes of chronic disease and how to help her patients beyond what chiropractic adjustments alone can do. Combine all this with her love of healthy cooking and healthy living through proper nutrition, you’ve got an arsenal of healing techniques. Dr Jaqua’s patients are able to enjoy improved health and lifestyles no matter the cause or severity of their current situation. Dr. Jaqua has previously practiced at Chiropractic Clinics in Dunedin, FL and in Belleair Bluffs, FL. She lives in St. Petersburg with her husband, Eric, along with their 3 cats and dog. Dr. Jaqua and Eric share the same passion for seeing people enjoy being healthy.
