St Vincents Support Centre
www.stvincents-svp.org.ukSt Vincent's was set up as a project by The St Vincent de Paul Society in 1996 to meet the emotional needs of local people living in hardship. Our centre is a vibrant hub for families and individuals, with a commitment to providing a community of help, hope and opportunity, where everyone is valued and able to fulfil their potential. Every day we receive requests from families in crisis with a desperate need for food or help with their personal circumstances. How do we respond to this? Our community shop and cafe are central to the work of the centre, providing good quality products at affordable prices, our free support services include debt advice, general counselling and learning opportunities and we also operate an emergency food parcel service for people who find they have no income or means to buy food. We are a close knit team who work very hard to maintain a positive environment and to deliver an excellent service for all who need our help. With the help of the local community, we are keen for the centre to become less reliant on public funding and more proactive in working with the local community to consolidate support and generate funds. Thank you for your interest and support.
