African Energy is a trusted provider of consultancy, data and news services designed to support decision-making throughout all stages of the project and investment lifecycle. Our subscription-based African Energy newsletter was launched in 1998. In 2014 we set up the Africa Investment Exchange (AIX) series of meetings through CbI Meetings. In 2017 we launched African Energy Live Data, an innovative and interactive data platform of more then 6,000 operating, under-construction and pipeline electricity generation projects that is changing the way investors and developers identify power plants and analyse markets across the continent.
