Mr. Newsom has been Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2005 and has an advanced law degree in tax law from SMU Law, in addition to his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Duke Law. He also has an accounting degree from Baylor and previous experience at a Big Four accounting and consulting firm.
