Destination Sydney Surrounds North (DSSN) is one of six Destination Networks responsible for driving the growth of the Visitor Economy in each respective region to help achieve the NSW Government’s overnight visitor expenditure goal for 2020. Destination Sydney Surrounds North is a large and diverse region with it’s office located in Gosford CBD. We cover 13 Local Government Areas comprising of Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hawkesbury, Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Singleton, Maitland, Dungog, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter. We are a diverse tourism region with a significant number of existing assets and a number of international-ready destinations with recognised brands in both the domestic and international markets. It's diversity is one of its key strengths, with a tourism offer encompassing aquatic and coastal, nature and adventure, food and wine, history and heritage, events and festivals and business events.
