TOHI’s first project was the design and implementation of an office hub in the Leewenbrug in Deventer, the Netherlands. In 1999 TOHI redeveloped this newly built but vacant 475 sqm space into a technology and consulting centre including redesign, repositioning and expansion to 1000 sqm. This project, more than 10 years ago, taught us that in order to be successful, even in challenging times, it’s essential to understand the market’s needs and develop inspiring, attractive, well managed spaces that meet both customer and employee demands. We’ve worked according to this principle ever since. Over the years TOHI has developed and redeveloped over 10 000 sqm real estate in Europe and South Africa transforming existing buildings and areas into inspirational, attractive, functional and safe environments. Our constant focus on current and future demand allows us, even in the current market, to invent, create and manage surprising places. Our most recent success story is the Blue House Building in Paarl. We transformed a dilapidated and downtrodden heritage building in an undesirable area of Southern Paarl, into a thriving workspace offering affordable and flexible space to businesses and individuals alike.
