The Chinese team, operating under Dutch management, is familiar with the European culture and fluent in the English language. On the other hand, the staff of the Dutch office is very familiar with the Chinese culture and is well known with the Chinese language. In 2008, following years of professional experience in the Chinese market, Wim and Joost Eeuwes decided to establish EWD-Compass with the intention of using their expertise to support companies when they do business in China. The office in Ningbo was opened less than a year later. The direct link to China was made. Today, EWD's team consists of fifteen permanent employees located in the Netherlands, China and Vietnam.
