The Open Society is a non-profit organization that has been promoting structural changes in public policy and society for 14 years. Currently, we are focused on: - Participation in Governance - Police as a Public Service - Promotion of Gender Equality - Society without Discrimination - Public Space Open to the People Achievements: -Held a clinic that taught people to use 106 Law on free access to information -Prepared the first ever concept of cultural policy in the Czech Republic -Introduced the topic of management culture in universities -Created a method of gender-sensitive training for teachers in primary and secondary schools -Conducted 19 gender audits: helping companies improve their methods in terms of equal opportunities at work -Projects conducted by the Open Society have transformed into independent organizations now successfully operating in the Czech Republic - We have trained 50 officers in the effective management of police work.
