In 2016, high school student Lauren Brocious created The #YouDefineYou Project to advocate for mental health, create anti-bullying initiatives, and to prevent suicide. On June 14th, 2020, The #YouDefineYou Project transitioned to meet the needs of an ongoing mental health crisis and rebranded itself into Project Four. Project Four allocates, advocates, evaluates, and educates communities in an effort to create affordable, accessible, and sustainable mental health resources. Regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, race, sexual orientation or religion, Project Four believes that everyone should have the basic human right of obtaining mental health care.
