Our mission is to Join UnderServed To Opportunity, particularly by focusing on Latin America where we have professional contacts with the business and technical skills to distribute and support innovative medical devices. Throughout the world, there are many non-profits, NGOs, start-up companies, and research institutes focused on developing medical devices with the developing-world setting specifically in mind. Devices are designed for ruggedness, ease of maintainability, lack of dependence on consumables, use of alternative energy, accessible price, or other characteristics that make them suitable, and thanks to these efforts many millions of people have gained access to improved healthcare. Our business model is to partner with manufacturers and distributors of this type of device, and to further open the market in Latin America and expand the health impacts of these exciting new technologies.
