ONE FINE DAY FILMS is film production company founded in 2008 by German film director Tom Tykwer and Marie Steinmann-Tykwer. The initial idea behind the ONE FINE DAY FILM Project is to give African filmmakers an opportunity to write and produce their own stories and, under the mentorship of experienced filmmakers, reach an international audience on the big cinematic screen. ONE FINE DAY FILMS and their Nairobi-based partner GINGER INK successfully produced seven award-winning feature films and trained over 1500 African filmmakers. Today, all training activities are conveyed within the film training initiative SOME FINE DAY Pix. ONE FINE DAY FILMS continues creating & producing exciting content from East Africa.
