Industrial Management and System Design Laboratory, or known in Indonesian as Perancangan Sistem dan Manajemen Industri (PSMI) Laboratory was established in March 2000. This laboratory is the only macro laboratory in Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. PSMI laboratory is focused on the managerial system of an industry in such a way that the mobilization of existing units in the industry is effective, which the courses are strategic and could be applied in any sector of business. Function and Role of Industrial Management and System Design Laboratory: •Become a research center for the development of Industrial Engineering disciplines •Become a means of self-development for Industrial Engineering students •Hold scientific discussions in the field of Industrial Engineering •Become a Training Center for scientific development in the Industrial Engineering environment Courses: Introduction to Economics, Cost Analysis and Estimation, Engineering of Economics, Human Resource and Organizational Management, Project Management, Perfomance Management, Risk Management, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Knowledge Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Industrial Cluster, and Business Information System Design.
