There is the legend of the Tokoloshe. Then there is Thokolosi, the brand. Our focus is to identify and represent emerging and unique talented individuals within the territories of Southern Africa. We cater for the unconventional, offbeat citizens of the world, and we express this with our ambiguous slogan “wear your demons” – the main nuances being to wear your demons (aka flaws) as a statement, and to wear your demons down, exposing and accepting them. We are working to create an online marketplace between creative artisans and their buyers providing a digital platform for customers to contact, commission and comment. While the artisans benefit from being associated with a brand that is familiar, striking, cheeky & controversial.
